Hello

Just wanted to let you all know I am still alive . I have been working a lot lately but it is a rewarding job. I work with the elderly and I really enjoy it. They have so much to teach us and are so funny at times.

 One of our residents will turn 99 this week and I was talking to her and she said you know, people always ask me " Do you thing you will make it to 100 ? " You know what I tell them? And I said what is that , she says

" I dont worry about how long I am going to live, I just worry about living , while I' m living."

You know that struck me more than anything , anyone has ever said to me before.

She made me realize that little things are what it is all about. Rushing to get to work and rushing here and there after you leave means nothing. Taking the time to stop and enjoy life is what is important.

I hope I get to enjoy a long healthy life like she has.
